Amsterdam, 17 September 2008. The 4th edition of ISSA/INTERCLEAN Central & Eastern Europe will be held in Warsaw, Poland 13-14-15 May 2009. It remains the only trade fair of its kind where all aspects of professional cleaning are brought together under one roof in this part of Europe. With 180 exhibitors, support from numerous trade organisations and an educational and networking program, the event has everything in it to succeed according to partnering organizers Amsterdam RAI, ISSA and PSC.
Neighbouring countries
Attracting thousands of business visitors, the exhibition is the single most important focal point for the cleaning industry in Poland and surrounding countries including Russia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, the Ukraine and the Baltic countries.
Look, Listen, Learn
As in previous years, ISSA/INTERCLEAN will be running a seminar programme, which will provide an essential forum for debate and the transfer of knowledge in this ever-evolving market.
Outside Exhibition Area
For certain companies the exhibition of their products requires additional or special space. Therefore, after the successful premier last edition, in 2009 there will be a demonstration area outside the exhibition entrance. This will allow visitors to view the very latest in specialist window cleaning equipment including platforms and extending poles.
Facility Management Live
From the hospitality industry to the public sector, everyone needs a healthy, clean and well equipped environment to live and work in. The practice of facilities management includes lighting, heating, IT equipment, building maintenance and refurbishment, catering and security yet facilities managers are also very often responsible for organizing the cleaning of the building. At ISSA/INTERCLEAN we will dedicate a special part of the exhibition floor to Facility Management, Facility Management Live.
Facility Management Live is not just an exhibition, but includes a dedicated conference, workshop ánd competition. Facility Management Live is organised in cooperation with the Polish Facility Management Association and the Pest Control Association and supported by the trade magazine Facility Manager, published by Wydawnictwo FORUM Sp. z o.o.
From ‘just clean to Green’
In Poland and surrounding countries as elsewhere in the cleaning world, there has been a marked increase of interest in green cleaning techniques and non-toxic, biodegradable, environmentally safer cleaning products. One of the main themes of this year’s ISSA/ INTERCLEAN edition therefore is environmental respect and sustainability and a rich opportunity awaits exhibiting companies with eco-friendly products.

Amsterdam RAI
RAI Exhibition is part of the Amsterdam RAI and specialises in the organisation of national and international consumer and trade fairs. It stages approximately 25 professional fairs a year. Amsterdam RAI is the largest exhibition and congress centre in the Netherlands.
ISSA

PSC – Polish cleaning association
With the cooperation between ISSA and RAI, PSC became the third member in a partnership for organising a trade show for Central and Eastern Europe. The association’s tasks include organising training seminars and integration sessions, editing trade publications, and representing members at meetings with government organs. PSC is a member of the European Cleaning Federation.
